În acest an a fost testată o categorie specială, pentru cea mai buna serie, definită ca narațiune apărută în cel puțin trei volume din care minim unul publicat în 2016 și cu un număr minim total de cel puțin 240.000 de cuvinte, unificată de elemente precum plot, personaje, decoruri și prezentare.
